Cos’è una mediateca?

OpenAlexandria si propone di migliorare gli strumenti che gestiscono le mediateche digitali. Ma cos’è esattamente una mediateca digitale, in cosa differisce da una biblioteca tradizionale, e cosa ci riserva il futuro?

New layout for the Open Alexandria website

The website of the project Open Alexandria is adopting a more catchy layout.  In the following months some examples of the use of the platform will be published.  This is intended to improve the knowledge of the project.

Wikimedia Italia and EuroDocs join Open Alexandria

The association Wikimedia (that is in charge also of promoting the Wikipedia project in Italy) and the project EuroDocs take part in Open Alexandria.

Open Alexandria

The website was designed to support the Open Alexandria project, that provides an open source platform for the creation and the management of multimedia archives.

In the next few weeks the website will be enriched with more detailed informations, for a better description of the project, as well as input forms and roadmap.
